On Saturday morning we woke up and went for a long walk on the boardwalk and took the girls for breakfast. We saw dolphins and made stops to play with friends along the way. After breakfast we headed to the Bay to build sand castles and play in front of Athon and Margo's condo that they rented. After fun in the sun Liliana went down for a nap and I took some time to read in the sun and relax.
When she woke up, she and I headed to Sea World to play for the last day before our pass expired. We did some of our favorites...the sea turtle and shark exhibit, and the "Pets Rule" show...and a few things that we had never done before...the 4D Elmo show, the Cirque de la Mer show, and the new Dance Party area. Cirque and the dance party were her favorites. She is currently obsessed with all things "Cirque" and even though this was not even remotely as cool as the real deal, she thought it was special and has been practicing the moves ever since. Lately she has become obsessed with contortionists (that's what she wants to be when she grows up) and there was some of those types of the performances in the show, so she was very interested.
While she could have danced in the dance party area all night, I had to literally drag her out of there so that we could hurry back and make the bonfire with her cousins and friends at Athon and Margo's. The kids had a lot of fun making s'mores and running around in the sand.
On Sunday we slept in and then headed to meet the Tollacks at the La Costa Resort. There is a great kid's pool there that is all shallow and has a beach entry and a sandy area where the girls swam and played wildly for HOURS together. Every hour the pool had a forced 10 minute break which the girls would either spend dancing to the live music, or snuggling together on a lounge chair. The played so cute together and had the best day. It was such a fun weekend.
