Daddy and his "Sugar Girl"

She has him wrapped around her finger! I love them both SO much. There is nothing better than a lazy Sunday morning in bed with these two.

The 2 beans are the sweetest girls. We had a great first week together.

Changes

Liliana has become such a "big girl" the past few weeks. She is eating more foods, popped her first tooth (on the bottom left...pics to come), and is playing and expressing herself so much more.

When I was pregnant, Adam used to say that he couldn't wait to carry his baby around on his shoulders. It seemed so far off...I can't believe she is already this big!!

Liliana got a new big girl bath seat that she LOVES! Now she can sit up and play with all of her toys. She has always enjoyed her tubbies, but they just got even better!

She loves getting ready with Mom. A little diva in the making.

Liliana now rides like a big girl in the shopping cart and sits like a big girl in high chairs when we go out to restaurants. She loves being part of the action.

Summa Time!

Last weekend we went to the beach with my parents and the Reynolds family. It was very fun watching Hudson play in the sand. The babies were so good. After the beach we hit the pool. I love summer!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July filled with family and friends in South Mission Beach!

Thanks to Grammy and Aunty Shannon, Liliana had a 4th of July dress and 'kini!

When I was pregnant and I found out that my due date was near the holidays, I decided that I would start a tradition on celebrating my Baby's "half-birthday" each year so that she didn't feel like her special day got lost in the shuffle of holidays. Poor little Lila-Bean's half birthday happens to fall on 4th of July! Oh well...Happy Half-Birthday Baby Girl!!

Liliana is getting bigger and we are having more fun with her each day. Here are some things she has been doing lately...

-She "talks" so much now and her sounds are so sweet and girly. She makes breath-y sighs and sweet coos and "ba-ba-ba's" to us as if we can understand her.

-She is sweet and mellow and loves attention from anyone who will give it to her.

-She can sit up now (though not for long periods of time), but hasn't shown any interest in scooting or crawling yet.

-She laughs so much during the day--especially when Adam and I make funny faces at her. We think that she already has a great sense of humor.

-She wants to eat and drink whatever Adam and I are putting in our mouths but isn't as excited about the avocados, bananas or rice cereal that we are feeding her. It is getting hard to hold her in our lap at when we are at restaurants because she grabs at everything on the table.

-She is a pretty good sleeper--she takes 3 naps a day and only wakes up to eat once at night.

-She is such a little chunk. We adore all of her rolls, especially the ones on her KNEE CAPS! :)

-We are obsessed with her! Head over heels in love!

Layla and Lila

Liliana and I are SO excited to start our new "job" (if you can call it that) of playing with sweet little Layla. Her and Liliana are just a couple of days apart. We will be playing together four days a week and I am looking forward to them becoming playmates and close friends. We played together on Wednesday and we all had a blast. I am so lucky to be able to spend time with such happy, adorable babies.
