Liliana and I flew back to the Bay Area for 5 days and Adam joined us for the weekend. As usual, we had a fantastic time.
The main reason we flew up was so that I could see my first kindergarten class from Millsmont graduate from elementary school. I can't believe how grown up they are already! Liliana and my mom came with me to visit the kids during the day. Liliana was not the slightest bit overwhelmed by the classes of twenty kids. She just marched right in, sat in their chairs and touched everything she could get her hands on. That evening I went to the graduation and then went out to eat with Jenny and Tara, my former colleagues and friends. It was great to catch up with them.

The next day we met some friends and their babies at Tilden Park. Jolene came with little Miss Ava, Lindsay brought her sweet boys Ben and Charlie, and Erika brought her little buddy that she nannies for, William. The kids played at the park and fed the animals at Little Farm and then we had a picnic lunch.
My mom had some ribbon with Disney "printsies" on it. My mom put some in Lila's hair and she was so pleased with the look that she said, "mama, buckle too," so my mom made her a belt. She rocked the look:
That evening we headed over to the city to have dinner in the Marina and take some pictures of Liliana at Crissy Field. Katie got me the photo shoot as a birthday gift and I LOVED it! Liliana was a total ham and literally did NOT stop talking the entire hour. I think Nicole got some good shots. I still haven't seen all of them, but she sent me these as teasers:
On Friday Adam flew in and we went out to a delicious dinner at Flour and Water that my parents gave me as a birthday gift. It had been a while since just the two of us went out to dinner and we really enjoyed ourselves. Afterwards we met friends for drinks. It was a great "grown up" night.
On Saturday my parents hosted a BBQ for a lot of our friends. It was a beautiful day filled with swimming, playing with the kids, laughing, and eating my parent's delicious food. We also got to spend time with the sweet Cooley boys who we hadn't seen in a very long time.

On Sunday we celebrated the 2 best dads I know with a family brunch. Adam got a massage and we all relaxed before heading home on a plane.
