When Liliana was born EVERYONE (and I mean everyone) agreed that she was the spitting image of her father. Recently, more and more people are saying that she looks a little more like me. I see the resemblance to my family, but not necessarily me. She definitely doesn't look like my baby pictures...but she does look a lot like my brother Colin!

Who Does Liliana Look Like?
When Liliana was born EVERYONE (and I mean everyone) agreed that she was the spitting image of her father. Recently, more and more people are saying that she looks a little more like me. I see the resemblance to my family, but not necessarily me. She definitely doesn't look like my baby pictures...but she does look a lot like my brother Colin!
How Big Is Lila?...
...SO BIG!!
At her (almost) 3 month appointment she weighed in at 13 pounds (75th percentile) and 24 1/2 inches long (95th percentile). She continues to be happy and healthy! She is such a sweet, easy baby. We are SO lucky.

Bedtime
For the past couple of weeks Liliana has been sleeping in her own crib for her first sleep stretch. We decided to move her out of our bed and into her own when she started taking great naps in her crib and did well sleeping on her own in the pack and play at my parent's house.
She goes to bed at 7pm and wakes up at 7am. She usually wakes up for 2 feedings in the night (although last night she only woke up once), and we pull her back in bed with us after the first feeding, which is usually around 2am. She is doing great with it, but we miss having her between us. I don't know how we will ever be able to give up sleeping with her all together. Having her next to us in the night and waking up to her in our bed in the morning is just the BEST!
Because we moved her into her own crib, we broke down and bought a video monitor. But, it is not just your average video monitor...it zooms in on Liliana and can move side to side to scan the crib! My cousin Nicole told us about it and we are so happy we bought it! If any of you are in the market for a monitor, this one has all of the bells and whistles.

First Laugh
I was singing to Liliana in front of the mirror this morning and she laughed--TWICE! I have heard her laugh before, but only in her sleep. This was the first time she actually laughed at something. I have no pictures or video, I just wanted to record it in this electronic baby-book of sorts as another 'first'.
Look who's trying to talk!
It is hard to catch Liliana on video, but here is a sample of the "conversations" we have been having lately. She tries so hard to move her mouth and make a sound. I love the sound of her voice. (Please excuse the sound of my voice. Also, excuse the fact that the video is sideways--I have no idea how to rotate it.)

BOYS!!
Most of the babies in Liliana's life are boys. Her dad has already taught her what to do if one tries to get fresh!
Living Dolly
Tahoe
We took Liliana on her first trip to the snow! I was worried about how the altitude would affect her, but she did great. She had a couple of sniffles and some spit up milk, but I think she would agree that it was worth it. We had so much fun with everyone. It was a perfect weekend filled with hitting the slopes, good food, and great company!

San Francisco
Liliana spent some time in her Mom's favorite city in the world! We had brunch with Cella, Shannon, Lindsay Swain, Gina and her adorable twin baby boys Caden and Colton, and Lindsay Glaser and her new little cutie Charlie. After brunch in the Presidio we met up with Cella's husband Peter and Gina's husband TJ and went to an old neighbohood favorite, Balboa. Liliana had fun playing with everyone and hanging at the bars.

Lil' Jet Setter
Liliana took her first plane ride yesterday to visit her family and friends in the Bay Area. She did great--such a little traveler! Adam was on his way to a bachelor party in Austin, so he helped us get checked in and walked us to the gate. She slept through checking in and getting seated, nursed on the way up, played with me for a little while, nursed on the way down, and fell back asleep for baggage claim. Southwest gave us her own seat because the flight wasn't booked. She didn't cry at all on the flight. I am so glad she did well because her mom and dad LOVE to travel. This flight was the first of many for her.
