We are still enjoying our summer! Here are some more adventures that I remembered to take pictures of.
Baby Beach with Stella and Giselle:
Concert at the Beach: We had a picnic dinner and watched the kids dance to the music of a Journey cover band on the beach at San Clemente pier. It was a beautiful night and Stella, Lila and Ashlyn had so much fun playing in the surf and sand together. Ashy and Lila ended up naked once the sun set, running in and out of the cold ocean and laughing so hard that they could barely stand up.
Fiesta
Every year San Clemente closes down Avenida Del Mar for "Fiesta", which is a big street fair filled with fun for the adults and kids. Liliana had a great time in the bounce house, petting zoo, getting her face painted, dancing to the band, picking out a new tiara, and seeing this silly red-apple character that was a promotional tool for a local tutoring company. My daughter is so obsessed with any life-size cartoony pretend character that she even gets excited for a big red apple. She laughs, kisses them, talks their ear off, and follows them around until I pull her off of them. Could too many trips to Disney in her little life be the culprit?
I took Liliana and Aubrey to the Santa Ana zoo in Irvine Park. It is very small, but the girls had a lot of fun. Their favorites were the bears, the petting zoo where they brushed the goats, and the ocelot that Liliana called, "Raja" (Princess Jasmine's tiger). She yelled to it, "Hi Raja! It's okay. Jasmine is here baby! I will make you dinner." Every animal that we visited she would talk to and sing to and then look at me and say, "he LOVES me!"
