Liliana started her new school and is LOVING it! For as outgoing and adventurous as she can sometimes be, she also has a timid side and gets nervous about trying new things when I won't be able to stay with her. She was very apprehensive about starting school, but in the weeks leading up to her start date the school hosted a play date at school for the new students and then her fabulous teacher, Eve, came to our home to play with her. So, by the time the first day rolled around she was feeling more excited than nervous. She had a great first day with no tears and she has skipped off smiling every day since. She is in a group with only 3 year olds, but they share a classroom and a yard with the 4 year old class, which is where she seems to be making all of her friends.

One of my favorite things about the school is the communication. I get photographs sent to me every week or two from the happenings in the classroom and Eve makes a weekly newsletter about what they are doing at school, complete with photographs and quotes from the children. I really feel connected to her learning and couldn't be happier with our school choice. Here are some of the photos Teacher Eve sent me.
