Funny Christmas season moments

"Do the 'Home Goods' people need food and toys because they aren't as lucky as us?" (I was so confused when she asked me this until I realized that she confused 'homeless' with the store 'Home Goods'.)

While shopping for the homeless children Liliana looked at me and said, "It's better if we get them shoes than toys. What would they do with their toys? If they don't have a house, then they don't have a play room."

Liliana was acting naughty one night and Adam told her that she should mind her behavior because Santa doesn't bring gifts to naughty children. She stopped crying and thought about that for a moment and then said, "that's alright. If he doesn't bring me what I want for Christmas, I will just ask for it for my birthday."
