Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch

Liliana has switched her idea of what she would like to be for Halloween this year a couple of times already. Back in August she asked her Grandma to make her a Snow White costume. It turned out SO cute. Adam was going to be Prince Charming and I was going to be the "little brown bird that she sings with" according to Liliana (because she wouldn't let me be the Evil Queen).

Then, we saw the Mary Poppins Broadway play and she asked her Grandma to make her the pink dress that Mary Poppins wore in the "Jolly Holiday" scene. We sent my mom pictures from the playbill and she quickly got to work on making Liliana her second costume. It is also really detailed and cute on her and she loves it. I am not sure that anyone will know who she is trying to be because most people picture Mary Poppins in her outfits from the movie, but Liliana is very pleased with it and that's what counts. Just recently she started telling people that she wants to be Flounder. There is no more time for my mom to make another costume so she is stuck with one of the 20 or so dress up outfits that hang in her closet! I have a feeling she will to be someone different for each Halloween event that we attend.
She decided to be Mary for our Tanaka trip, minus the hat, vest and gloves because it was too hot in her opinion. She was worried that her long dress was going to get dirty so she walked around holding her dress up with her panties showing most of the day.

Jack and Lila, cracking each other up...

Liliana sang "Step in Time" to all of the animals.
Woody and Jessie would not crack a smile!
