Breech Update

There has been no change in the position of the baby. Since my last posting about our baby flipping into the breech position, I have added hypnotherapy to my repertoire of attempted methods and have continued with the other methods--but at a much more relaxed pace.
Last Saturday we went in to Scripps Encinitas Hospital where Dr. Biter performed the external cephalic version. By pushing and pulling on the baby he was able to manuever the baby from the left to right side, but could not get the baby to cooperate by tucking his/her chin and making the last flip into the vertex position. It was definitely uncomfortable, but I was able to close my eyes and relax and smile at Adam through the procedure because I knew that it was best for the baby. I was exhausted after the ordeal and swore I would not try again, but a week later I find myself ready to give it another shot. Hopefully this time the baby will decide to work with us. If not, I have to trust that he/she knows best about the safest way to enter the world.

Here are some pictures of my tummy when Adam is using the moxa sticks on the outside of my pinky toes as a form of accupressure. It is hard to tell in the pictures, but the baby's entire weight shifts to my right side when he does this.

Here are some pics of my growing belly at 37 weeks
